    I don't usually comment on lolita clothing, but Candy Violet's Paris Patisserie Skirt in black somehow hurts my eyes. Don't get me wrong I like the design and the shape, but the color plan for the black one...the lime green, hot pink and the black stripes...just... my eyes just don't like it. I like the blue, but the black...

    Last night, I saw the new CSI: Las Vegas . I debated with myself watching the new season. I was one of those fan that said 'no Grissom, no love', but I was bored last night and nothing was really on sooo....I don't know what to think about Dr. Langston. I don't like him, but then I do. The character just seems out of touch with the science. Laurence Fishburne is a good actor. I like him in the Matrix and 1995's version of Othello. He played the out of place professor very well. I don't know what to make of him, yet. I glad they are working Hodges more in to the story. He is my favorite character out of the whole CSI series.
    For some reason, I found myself writing Joker fanfic this past month or so. I don't know why I'm doing it. I don't even like reading almost all fanfics. Odd. All well. I will keep writing it. I will not give up!

Holiday miracles, curess, pet peeves and wishes

My holiday "Miracle"? :
    My camera that I thought was broken last summer magiccally repaired itself and started working again. Don't know what caused it to do that. <shurg>
My holiday "Cures":
     For the forth year in a row I have had a cold during the holiday week. Through Chanukah, through Christmas till the New Year I am sick as a dog. Last year I had pneumonia, the year before that I had a nasty head cold, the year before that a chest cold. This year I have a ears, sinuses, and throat hurt and only recently I have been able to talk normally.
My Holiday "Pet peeves" :
      I celebrate both Chaunkah and Chirstmas. When I was growing up the teachers in elementry school would talk and decorate the with different holiday in December. They would explain the different holidays like X-mas, Kwanzza (sp?), Winter solstice, Dongzhi Festival, Deepavali, etc. etc. Well when they came to Chanukah they just said it was a Jewish holiday. That's it. They didn't get into any of the details about the holiday like they did with the other holidays. Most of the time, I was explaining it to the teacher.
      Well, back to the present, I went to school a week ago. They had all the decorations up. They had a couple little x-mas trees, a kinara, and giving away tangyuns in the lunchroom. I looked all around the school for the usually single menorah. There was no menorah. So I have decide to donate a little Chaunkahbush (it's a x-mas tree dress in white and blue with dreidels and stars of David on it) to the school. I'm NOT trying to force feed my holiday on other people. I like playing "lets find the menorah in the x-mas movie". I just want a little thing to represent a holiday or two that I celebrate.

    I have not dropped off the side of the planet...yet. For the past couple of weeks, I have been busy and every time I try to write something, I have to do something elas or I am kicked off the computer. My Thanksgiving was good and bad. Julie came over and had dinner with us because her family dose not celebrate Thanksgiving. That was cool. The food was great. The only bad part was I found out one of my current obsessions, a german visual kei band named Cinema Baizarre, is losing one of their members. Luminor, Keyboard and 2nd vocal for Cinema Baizarre, is leaving for heath reasons. I'm going to miss Luminor in Toyz (they're next CD comming out in Spring 09) His deep voice made the Final Attraction Cd so good. I almost cried reading the announcement. I'm such a fangirl.
      A week or two ago, I went to a loli meet-up a the SF zoo. I had not been there since the remodeling. I wore the JSK that I just finished making a week before. The zoo set up a ice-skating rink and you could rent ice skates. I had not ice skate in about 5 years, so I mostly hang onto the wall. The zoo was wonderful, made me wish that my camera was not busted. La sign. Hopefully, I'll have my camera fix before the Dicken's Fair meet-up.
      This past weekend, I saw Twilight. It was a good movie. If you hadn't read the book, then you would love the movie. I have read the books. The movie dose give the movie justice. I only had two problems with the movie. The book was more graphic then the movie. Bella should have been beaten up worse and in the book, Edward's and Bella's relationship was more touchy-feely. The other problem is I thought the director used to much blue filter.

    For the last half of October, I have been having problems with both Independence and the Academy. I had to drop a really cool photo illustrator class at Independence because the days that the class is schedule were days I had to watch Grandpa. The first day I had my art class for the Academy, I went to the wrong class. I was so dead that Saturday morning that I didn't know where I was going. I just followed the students that had boards and portfolio bags. I was a good lemming. The online class that I'm also taking from the Academy didn't activate till Halloween. There was some computer difficulties . La sign. I had to make up a lot of work.
    I have finish sewing two skirts and a dress. I wish I could post them but my camera is dead. Well, my cam era isn't broken. It just I lost my charger for it.    ; _ ;
     I still have writers block with a slight case of artist block, but the art classes are helping me to kick it.

Going insane and new CSIs'....

     Bad news first: I don't know when my online courses start and the only way I find that out is to login. Sadly I missed where I put login username and password....Great...Perfect....Grrrr...

     Good news: I get a job to work the voting polls this year and make money, too. Yay money. I really don't know who I would vote for if I could vote. I don't want to vote Mccain or Obama....I know I'll vote for Cthulhu.(if I could vote)

      Anyway, I have been watch some CSI: Miami new season and I got to say "we are not amused". First of all, I getting sick and tired of all the hologram bullshit that they use in the labs. There is no such equipment like that. I wish there was, but there isn't. The show has been leaning way too much on the dramatic/Hollywood side of the fence then the scientific side. It is bugging me a lot. Also, what is with the bullets sticking into the bad guy when he is infront of a good guy. If you are taking a shot at someone that close usually the usually impacts the body and then keeps on going.

P.S. See mouse I can write a blog with out saying 'la sign'.

   I have not post in a while for I have not have time and when I did have time I am spending it with my parents. And the only time I free time is when I'm not watching Grandpa. Grandpa has really been an ass to me sometimes when I'm babysit him. I know some people would say that I should not say that about my own Grandpa. I do love him but if he's being an ass then I'll call him an ass. Sometimes I'm too blunt for my own good.
    So my basic day has been just watching Grandpa and doing my independent studies. I finally found my CD for the Aceadmy's online course I'm taking. I lost it has soon it arrived in the mail around the time I last posted. I'm starting both my art courses in the first two weekends of October.
    I'm proud of myself. I tired really hard to be social today (I'm very anti-social). I went to a meet-up** with Julie, today. My first one. Yay. We met at the Conservatory of Flowers and walk around there before we headed into the conservatory. After the Conservatory, we headed to the Tea Garden. It was really fun. I'm sure someone will post the pictures on egl soon.

.....I have been in and out the ER with my grandfather. His pacemaker seems to not be working right. My dad and I just picked him up at the hospital for the third time his week. I'm really getting worried.

.....I have been wondering if I still have friends from my old high school, which is half the people I interact with. I'm becoming a hermit, what can I say. La sign.

    I have just been busy and have not have time to access a comp. It is nearly impossible to kick dad off the comp. La sign. I have been doing fine but busy. I have enroll in the academy of art's pre -collage program. I'm taking a drawing class and a Comic illustrator program this fall semester. There goes my Saturdays. Least, it dose not start till October. I might try to get in a photoshop class at Independence this year I don't know. See what happens.
     I spend time with Yevette last Tuesday. We were planning on have party for Yvettes b-day at Destiny's house, but things happen and the party didn't happen. So it was just Yvette and I. I dragged Yvette down to the Castro because she never went there. We just looked around before she had to head home. It's sad because after she left me she had a appointment with the dentist to get braces.
      I did not get my dress done for the Gothic & lolita bible v.3 party, witch was last Saturday. Too much lace *twich, twich*. I wore that dress from In the starlight. The party was alright. It was more like a info meeting for people who don't know about lolita. I did get V.3 before it is relesed and I also got to see one of my favorite U.S brand designer. On Sunday, Mom and I went to the Mikado. It was done by the lamplighters. I barely understand some operattes songs. I was very glad that they had projective subs above the stage.

    Today, I went to on a tour of Academy of Art's fashion, New Media, and Graphic Design departments. I'm signing up for their pre-collage programs. I will probably be taking a starter art course and a comic illustrator course for the fall. In spring I'll take a fashion design and screenwriting courses. Another letter from p2p has come this time inviting me to go to Japan with them. I'm debating on going. The last trip was horrible and un-organized. This is the same student program that I went on when I went to Italy and Greece. Sure, get to go to japan, but will I even get to step into Harajuku or wear any lolita on the trip. I don't want to go to Japan and not go to the "Baby, the Stars Shine So Bright" store there.

   Projects: I am finish cutting the pattern out of the fabric and Im going to start sewing tonight, after we see Wall~E....

   On a more personal note, I don't know whats happening with my friends and I feel they/I have drifted apart from me/them.

, La sign..I have been having a terrible problem with writers block. I have ideas, but once I decide to put it on paper I lose it. It's like my body is too slow for my brain or my brain is too fast for my body. I don't know, but it's driving me crazy....well, more then I am usually. "Searching for Alice" has gone to a complete halt. I even took the site down because I did not have anymore pages except the first five pages. Plus, I might even change the name.
This weekend my dad and I are ending up north to pick up some fabric our friend was holding for us. Maybe, I can talk to mom and get some fabric to make a dress out from. I got a lot of dress/shirt/skirt patterns from Gosu Loli and other places. I just need to understand kenji and I will be find. (yeah..and I got swamp l and in dead vally).

Did you ppl miss me? I'm back from Greece and Italy and sick as a dog. I'm disappointed, burned, and very pissed. The studant travel program( I went with a big group of students.) I went on built on all these expectations and they plan it all out, but on my trip, when we actually got to the destination or activeity that they plan for us, they ending up canceling the activity. Exsample: we were suppost to go to the beach, but everytime they plan on going to a beach they canceled it and almost never gave us a reason why. I was in the middle of fucking Mediterranean Sea and I didn't get to swim in the sea. Sure, we got to walk on the beach for 5 mins. but we could not go in the water.

I will post later with more details later. I have caught a cold and I'm still on Italiean time. It's good to home.

Yay, I finally posted the prologue for my first manga. I been working on the story and drafts for weeks now. I'll probly won't update on it, till I come back from Italy in mid July. Oh well, I got the prologue out. The website is not very fancy at the moment, but I working the layout at the moment. I'll finish the layout when I come back.

On Monday afternoon, Jennet cane over and we went J-town. We looked around, got some crepes, and took some photos at the PikaPika parlor. I took Jennet to Ichiban Kan (It's like a Japanese IKEA but even CHEAPER) just get some pocky, but we ended up staying there for 2 hours. La sign. I probly will be visiting her across the bay before summer ends

Hair cut........

I have not bloged in awhile. Too much end of the school year homework. I had my hair cut and styled today. My hair is now short and strait. I love it. No more rats nest. I can't see why some women hate strait hair and love thick curly hair. I'm naturally have thick curly hair and it is no big deal. I actually hate my hair. It gives me too many headaches. I bursh it out, takeing all the rats out of it, and then 10 mins later the rats are back with a vendetta. I wanted to get lolita bangs, but both mom and the hairdresser said no. La sign.
I got some new dress paterns and I'm thinking makeing some dresses useing the extra fabric in the basement. I'll probally start on it after i get back from my trip in the middle of July. Hopefully I will get opencanvas to run, if not sooner. If I have open canvas going I can finially actually start my manga.
